A Kindred Spirit

I just wanted to make you all aware of my  friend, Elizabeth’s blog. We attended the same church as children, and although she is much younger than I am, I believe she is much wiser than I.  Perhaps through her trials, Elizabeth has grown in grace at an amazing speed. You see, Elizabeth has a long term illness,(which you can read about on her blog) and her attitude is amazing.

In her own words:

“I may not fully understand why God has chosen me to face the trials of a long-term illness or the unique challenges of military life; yet I know I can depend on my God who is sovereign, and who has planned all these things from before the foundations of the world. I may not understand, but I know they serve a purpose.”

Amazing how trials can either draw us to Christ or make us bitter. Elizabeth clings to Christ and encourages others to do the same.

Visit her here  and  say hello. 🙂
