Hi Sarah, I forgot how I discovered your blog, and after watching the video I realized that it was from the Top 25 contest (that I found through Courtney at Women Living Well). I’m so glad I did. I love your tagline and love the feel of your blog. With 5 little ones of my own (ages 11, 9, 7, 3, and 1) so much of what you write really resonates with me. I never felt like I had to “choose joy” very much before I had children, but like you said, all those moments with children that are not “sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows” can really test your character. 😉 I’m subscribing and look forward to reading more! =)

p.s. thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on the list of Summer activities. =)
I love what you said “I can either choose joy or choose to complain.” And you are so right that it is a CHOICE! Thank you for sharing. Your video was so sweet!
Be Blessed.

Enjoyed your video and have really enjoyed checking out your blog. Thanks already for the encouragement you’ve been.
My husband is German and I am American. We lived in SC for almost 11 yrs and have now been in Germany for almost 6 yrs. We have 3 kids ages 10,12, and 15. God is so good and I love the reminder that we can choose to see things with eyes of joy.
Look forward to learning more!
HI there. I’m so happy to find you. After watching your video, I think we have a lot in common (except I only have 3 kids). Can’t wait to read more here.
