Smart Ways To Embrace Busy-ness.
When life overwhelms you with “busy” it is essential to be a drill sergeant with your priority list.
That is why I have been so lame on the posting lately. {cough}
So when life gets super busy, may I suggest a way to keep sane?
1. Center your thoughts around your grand purpose. You already know that. {Forgot what that is? Read here } Don’t get caught up (read: entangled) in the nitty-gritty or you will become frazzled. Do the nitty-gritty with an eye for a bigger purpose. This ONE thing can never go: here.
2. Remember Your Creator. That is a motto that I have in my bathroom. Weird place, but I do some of my greatest thinking in the shower. {ahem} But seriously, the verse “Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusts in Thee” is TRUE. I am peaceful when I realize that God has everything under control. Whenever we are in a state of unrest, our mind is “fixed” on the wrong things.
3. Live your Priorities. Sometimes we just need to remember that we cannot do it all well, and that everything in life is an exchange. Looking for balance? Read here and here
So, go do YOUR important things today. Whatever God brings your way, see it all as from Him.
As for me, this week is full of music lessons, art, teaching subject/verb agreement to my little one, a sick husband, Valentines treats, Bible studies, cooking/cleaning, book time on the couch, and youth retreats.
And it is all good, because it is all ordained of God.

Need some help with time management? Consider this 30 page ebook, Tell Your Time that gets rave reviews, and is written by one of my bloggers, Amy.
How do you ALWAYS know what I need to read? Wise woman! 😉
This is all so true, and this issue (stress and busy-ness) has been on my heart lately.
God is so good to drop reminders for us! Thank you for this.
I enjoyed this post very much. I also featured it by name on my blog today passing your wisdom along to others. I hope don’t mind my sharing it=)
Candles make even the most low-key event more special. 🙂 Good thoughts. It’s phonics, piano practice, and a birthday celebration for me this week 🙂
