My Girl: Mission Trip Bound
So, I have some exciting news.

This is my oldest daughter, Rebekah. {she’s still my baby though!}
Well, Rebekah told us last sememster that she was interested in a short term missions trip. So after much prayer, Rebekah applied for a Musical Missions Team that travels through Europe for the summer. She was accepted, and has begun training and deputation. So instead of being home this summer, Rebekah will be working alongside churches in Europe.
This was a bitter-sweet decision for me as a mom. I want my child home with me this summer. {whaa!} And I am a little nervous about not knowing exactly where she will be. {I need to look Slovakia up on a map!} She will be traveling through Germany, Austria, France, Czech Republic, and Switzerland.

And we have always hoped that she will use her musical talents not just for herself, but to encourage and bless others.
One of the highlights of her senior year was the opportunity to play in Symphony Hall in Boston.
BUT, I have a feeling that this missions trip will be a highlight of her life!
Would you prayerfully consider supporting Rebekah, both financially and by praying for her as she travels this summer? She needs to raise $5,000 to cover the expenses of her trip.

God bless you Sarah. The first year that Karen-lyn left with the musical mission team knowing that I wouldn’t just be able to pick up the phone and talk to her for several months, I felt like my heart was being ripped right out of my chest. By God’s grace I pulled it back in – still beating – and fully confident that He would watch over her. Proverbs 3:5,6 will get you through.
Thank you, Mrs. Pinch. You have always had such a good testimony of trusting God. I am getting a grip on my thinking and asking God to help me. She is in good hands. 🙂 I will remember that verse!
Will definitely be praying!! Any chance I could get a prayer card for the team somehow? Maybe through your Mom to mine? Would love to have a visual reminder to pray for her consistently.

I had to settle with myself that I can only do so much to promote this trip,and that I needed to spend my time in prayer for the whole team if I really believe that the fervent prayer avails much! 🙂 So thank you for your friendship and prayers!
