Cherishing the Moments

For three weeks, all five of my children are under one roof. So, I won’t be writing much here in the next few weeks.

Sunday morning: ready for church.

So, even thought I won’t be writing, I do have plans: 🙂

clambakes, movie nights, a trip to NY, kids sleepovers with friends, visiting with grandparents, shopping and out to lunch, trips to the beach, making smores, talking about life and God with my girls and melding hearts before she goes away again to school…

Time is a gift. We are answerable for how we use it. One elderly Christian man used to say, upon hearing the hourly chime ring out from his clock: “One more hour that I am accountable for.”

Cherish the moment with your little ones and redeem the time for Christ’s sake. Even when your kids are older, you can still influence them for eternity right now.

  • I copied and pasted your list of things to do. We’re having a difficult summer, and I’ve been feeling convicted that my kids need a break, and it’s time to cherish some of our fleeting moments. They’re getting swept away in a whirlwind of stress.

  • Have a wonderful time, Sarah! You have such a lovely family. I’ll look forward to your next post. Blessings!
