How to Read the Old Testament in 90 Days
Did you know that you can finish the Old Testament in 90 days by reading for about a half hour a day?
Last month, many of you joined me in the Read the New Testament in 30 Days challenge, and can you believe are are almost done? Many of you have asked, “What’s next” and said you’d like to attempt the OT using the same pace. Also, about a dozen of you told me that this was the first time you’d successfully read the NT and kept up with any plan! This just makes me so happy! Don’t you feel like celebrating? What a wonderful way to start the new year, and if you keep reading with the OT plan, you will have finished reading the Bible by spring. How amazing is that!?
So, for those who’d like to continue reading with me, I give you the Read the OT in 90 Days Challenge. I’m personally going to start this February 1st, so feel free to join me for accountability.
1.Download the brochure below and keep it in your Bible.
2. Follow the daily schedule by reading or listening to your audio Bible. Many of you are in stages of life where listening via the audioBible is the best way for you to retain Scripture. No shame in that! The goal is simply Word-saturation. Do what you have to do to get it done.
3. Share what you are learning and find others who are reading along with you by using the hashtag #readwithme90 on Instagram. If you have public profiles and you tag me at @joyfilleddays, I’ll share in my stories with the others who are reading with us.
Let me know if you plan to join me!
I just wanted to tell you that for day 15, on the form there is only 5 chapters for that day, from Numbers 25-30, and the next day goes to Deuteronomy, there is 36 chapters in Numbers.
