Soft Places To Land This Weekend

Hope you all enjoy this beautiful weekend and the gorgeous weather we are having.

This weekend, my oldest daughter Rebekah turns 18. We are so thankful for her! Plus, many of our youth group kids are graduating this weekend. Thinking of all of them.

Also, 4 out of 7 of us are sick. I am going to hang out, drink lots of tea and bask in the sun. And blog hop. 🙂

For your blog  hopping consideration- these interesting articles.

Anne at Modern Mrs. Darcy tackles gossip. One  good reason not to gossip: Spontaneous trait transference— whatever you say about others will cause them to ascribe those traits to you. So hopefully your words about others have been pleasant. here

And while we are on the subject of the tongue, do you sometimes use your words as weapons? Read this great post by Ann here.

For you mothers with very young children, Jessica made these adorable printable handwriting pages to go along with one of our favorite books, My ABC Bible Verses by Susan Hunt. see them here (She also wrote a great article on dealing with your family without “snapping”  even when you are very pregnant. here )

Happy Relaxing!

  • Oh, what a nice surprise! Thanks! I especially appreciated the post on not snapping at your family–it’s okay to need the reminder even if I’m NOT pregnant–right?

  • yes, one of her best friends, Julie, does in fact have the last name Auld! And she is superwoman, I’ve seen her cape. 😉

    • Nooo…I do not have a cape! That is a lie. 🙂 But you are one of my best friends. That is true! 🙂

  • I have to tell you I love your blog. Thank you for sharing and encouraging us as mother! I am always amazed at how a woman with more than 2 little babies do it all. I have 2, and I see you have 5 and I wonder oh she is superwoman. I always read your post, but I do not always leave a comment. Is your blog on FB to follow? Thanks again for sharing and encouraging keep shining for HIM!
