Cozy Home Challenge Part 3 {Invite Someone Over}
Happy Monday! We’re in the middle of the cranberry harvest–an absolutely gorgeous time of year! Believe it or not we had to pause the picking because we are waiting for the cranberries to turn cranberry!
Today’s Cozy Home Challenge is to invite someone over.
There’s nothing like sharing a meal with another family on a crisp fall night. If you work during the day, maybe stick a meal in the crockpot. It doesn’t have to be fancy.
Here are two of my favorites:
French Dip Sandwiches. A favorite in our family! Via Sally Clarkson from I Take Joy
Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff. Every time I bring this to a potluck, people ask for the recipe and it is SO simple.
I know you may not be in the life stage to make a huge meal for someone, so if not, pick up a package of Pepperidge Farm Geneva or Sugar cookies, put on a kettle of water or make a pumpkin spice latte, and sit and visit with some who may need a break as much as you do. (Or meet up for coffee somewhere.)
Hospitality is a win-win. You bless your friend with care, and you are blessed in return by the time spent and bonds formed.
Time is such a gift. Use your home this week to bless someone else with what you have.
Who can you invite in this week?
Hannah gave me this stroganoff recipe and I love it!!!
So delish!!
