I have always loved old samplers and needlework. When my children were young I designed antique needlework samplers and had my own online store. My designs were carried by national needlework retailers and some Christian companies like Vision Forum. In order to raise five children and homeschool well, I closed my small needlework design business, but my love for old samplers lives on.

I have my piece framed in an old wooden frame, but this would look great in a distressed black frame as well.

I’m starting to think ahead for Christmas this year for sure! Do you have any ideas or would you do a blog post on creative homemade Christmas gifts?? I’m semi-crafty but would like this year to try to make more gifts than just buying them. Any thoughts?
